I must have a sticky brain because a phrase or two of a song will dance across the radio and then it is stuck in my head for days, really driving me to the point of insanity. Sometimes the only way to cure myself is to play the entire song and sing it loudly. That usually does the trick.
The problem is that too often I don't know what the song is. The idea just occured to me that it would be incredibly useful if there were a source where I could sing a part of the song and some music search enginge would produce the exact song I was looking for.
The ideal of this really excited me and then it hit me, surely someone has though of this. So I rummaged around online for a minute and found just such a place!
This will be the beginning of a whole new me. No more will a piece of song be locked inside my head on continous loop. Now I will be able to find the song and let it run its course until I'm cured of the catchiness of its tune.
If you are like me and looking for the name of that song in your head, go to Midomi

I love to plug in the mp3 player and let the songs play on random while I work away. Of course, I skip a few every now and then.
I will admit, I am a song abuser, meaning that when I find one I like I will replay it 5 or 6 times, until I know all the words and can hardly stand to hear it again. I will go on like that for days, or until Joel or Heather veto my song choice.
Really, it is mostly Heather's fault. She is my music mogul and introduces me to most of the music on the mp3 player. I don't have time to keep up with pop culture, so my lil' sis keeps me current.
I haven't reached the music storage limit of my mp3 player yet, so I need to find some more songs to love - any suggestions? I'm open to everything

There was recently an article about this Self Storage Bands website in Vox Magazine. It was full of enlightening information about the plight of the self storage band renter.

I'm sitting here on the couch watching American Idol on the DVR to see who got kicked off. I really use to be much more into this show. Since having 2 kids and a house to keep up with and a full time (and a half) job to stay on top of, I don't have time to vote for my favorite idols anymore.
HOWEVER, I really like Allison, and voted for her for 15 minutes straight -- however quickly I could push redial.
Looks like it paid off -- my girl is still in there.... this just goes to show... America Should Listen To Me :-)

This past weekend, my husband and I went to see a Broadway play in St. Louis, MO. The lighting, costumes, set and orchestra were amazing!
As I watched the play, I found myself wondering where they keep all those props, instruments, and costumes. I was surprised at how they fit the stage perfectly, as if they were made just for it, but I'm sure they would fit almost any Broadway venue.
The storage unit for a Broadway play would be fun to rummage through! If I could have one thing from a Broadway storage space, it would be an elaborate gown worn by the diva of the show. (Hey, I may be all grown up, but I still like to play dressup)

The self storage industry is sure to see a change in the type of short term storage customer in light of our current economy. Whether or not long term storage customer trends will change can only be told after some time.
It is apparent that short term storage seekers are not as interested in the 'fluff' and want to get down to business.
How will the sales strategy of storage owners change?
